(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 26 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 20 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 38 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
Six practitioners were arrested by officers from Hulan District and Fangtai Town Police Station on August 10, 2015. They are Mr. Shi Yanzhi and his wife, Mr. Li Yi, and three of Kang’s family members including daughter, mother, and grandmother.
2. [Linqu County, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Qinggui Interrogated
Mr. Li Qinggui was threatened and interrogated by Chen Xuezeng (陈学增), captain of the Domestic Security Division of Linqu County 610 Office, and four others from the local police station on August 6, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former dictator of the Chinese Communist Party.
3. [Beijing] Four Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Wang Shuwen, 70, Ms. Geng Fenglan, Ms. Liu Guixia, and Ms. You Shiling were arrested at Ms. Wang’s home by twelve officers from the Guandao Police Station on August 6, 2015. The police ransacked Ms. Wang’s home. Ms. Wang is still detained and the three others were released that evening.
4. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Jun Harassed
Mr. Liu Jun was arrested and his home was ransacked by officers from Huafeichang Police Station. He was later released but the police still continue to harass him.

5. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Liu Haihua Arrested
Ms. Liu Haihua was arrested and taken to Xunyang Police Department by five or six officers on July 31, 2015, for talking to high school students about the persecution of Falun Gong. While being held at that police department, she was handcuffed to an iron chair and her arms were injured. She also had pain in her chest and ribs. She was taken to Jiujiang City Detention Center and released on August 5, 2015.
6. [Pi County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xia Juxiang Arrested
Ms. Xia Juxiang was arrested on her way back home by officers from the Railway Police Station on August 6, 2015. Officers from Chengdu City, Pi County, Tangchang Town, and agents from the Zhuwa Residential Committee ransacked her home on the same day. The police confiscated several Falun Gong books, informational materials about Falun Gong, four radios, two telephones, and 1,600 yuan in cash.
Ms. Xia was detained for two days during which time she was restrained on a tiger bench. Her home was ransacked again by officers from Hongyuan County Political and Legal Affairs Committee, and Yu Lihu (余利虎) and Li Runying (李润英) from the 610 Office on August 9. They confiscated Falun Gong informational materials.
7. [Pei County, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Pan Xujun Detained
Mr. Pan Xujun was arrested and his home was ransacked on May 19, 2015. He is detained at Pei County Detention Center. He has frequently been harassed.
8. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Shujun and Mr. Wu Wenguang Harassed
Ms. Chen Shujun and Mr. Wu Wenguang were harassed at home by officers from Gexianshan Town Government and Police Station on July 28 and August 6, 2015, respectively for suing the dictator Jiang Zemin.
9. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Five Practitioners Detained
Ms. Chang Haihua, Mr. Zhang Quanheng, and Ms. Wang Gaizhen were arrested and taken to Nancheng Police Station by officers including Wang Limin (王利民) from Xinzhou City Domestic Security Division on August 8, 2015. The police also ransacked their homes.
Ms. Zhang Fengying was also arrested on the same day by officers from Sanjiao Town Police Station. The police arrested Ms. Liu Rune on August 9.
The five practitioners were taken to a detention center on August 9 for a 15-day detention term.

10. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Chunying Harassed
Ms. Zhang Chunying’s home was ransacked by five or six officers including director Sun Xiaoyan from Taiguzhuang Town Judicial Department on August 7, 2015. The police confiscated a Falun Gong book, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and a volume of "Minghui Weekly."

11. [Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Detained
Ms. Li Yuzhi and another female practitioner were arrested on August 9, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained in Jinan City.

12. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xu Xinhua Detained
Mr. Xu Xinhua was arrested at home by seven or eight officers from Hepingxiaoqu Police Station on August 6, 2015. The police ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Xu is detained at a detention center.

Ms. Liu Xuejuan was arrested on August 10, 2015.
14. [Chongqing] Ms. Xiong Hongwei and Ms. Feng Zhilan Arrested
Ms. Xiong Hongwei and Ms. Feng Zhilan were arrested and taken to Chongqing Women's Prison in early July 2015.
15. [Tianjin] Ms. Pan Huifen Detained
Ms. Pan Huifen was arrested and her home was ransacked by officers from Zhongbei Town Police Station on August 7, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the dictator of the CCP. She is detained at Xiqing Detention Center.
16. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fang Weixiu Harassed
Ms. Fang Weixiu’s home was ransacked by police officers on July 26, 2015. That afternoon, two officers went to her home again and harassed her.
17. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Mr. Xu Zhong, Ms. Ren Ji, and Ms. Guo Xiufen were arrested on August 10, 2015. The police ransacked their homes. They are detained at Qianguo County Domestic Security Division.
18. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Zhiping Arrested
Mr. Li Zhiping was arrested at home and his home was ransacked on August 6, 2015. The police confiscated computers, printers, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, a laminator, and all his Falun Gong books, and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was interrogated while being held at Anju District Police Department.
19. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Five practitioners were recently arrested by officers from Shangzhi City Political and Legal Affairs Committee, 610 Office, and local police stations. They are Mr. Zhang Lihua, 72; Mr. Zhang Zhengren and his wife Ms. Zhang Wenling, Ms. Wang Yunguang, and Ms. Wang Yanling. All the female practitioners were taken to the Yazijuan Detention Center.
20. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
Officers including Li Fengguang from Erdaowan Town 610 Office went to the homes of four practitioners including Ms. Liu Shubo on August 7, 2015, after they sued Jiang Zemin. Ms. Liu was not at home.

21. [Zhangjiachuan County, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhao Weijun and Ms. Zhang Qiaoping Arrested
Mr. Zhao Weijun and Ms. Zhang Qiaoping were arrested by officers from the Zhangjiachuan County Domestic Security Division on August 6 and 7, 2015, respectively. Both were detained for 15 days.
22. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Cao Luxia and Ms. Zhu Guaifang Detained
Ms. Cao Luxia and Ms. Zhu Guaifang were arrested by officers from Fengxiang County Police Station on August 10, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books. Both are detained at Fengxiang County Police Station.
23. [Dayi County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yang Anwen Arrested
Mr. Yang Anwen was arrested by officers from the local police station on August 5, 2015.
24. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Four practitioners from Weihe Town were arrested by officers from Harbin Police Department, Shangzhi City Police Department, and Weihe Town Police Station on August 10, 2015. They are Ms. Guo Min, Mr. Guo Jie, Mr. Fu Chongjin and his daughter Ms. Fu Yulian. Mr. Fu was released and the others were taken to Harbin City.
25. [Xinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xiu Shuying Threatened
Ms. Xiu Shuying was interrogated at home by at least four officers from Xinglong County 610 Office and Police Department around August 6, 2015, for filing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former dictator of the CCP. The police confiscated Falun Gong books and ten lectures given by the founder of Falun Gong. They also threatened Ms. Xiu by keep her children from working.

26. [Hunyuan County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Bai Hengxin and Ms. Li Zhifang Arrested
Ms. Bai Hengxin and Ms. Li Zhifang were arrested and their homes were ransacked on August 10, 2015.
27. [Suixi County, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Detained and Two Harassed
Twelve officers including director Yang Xin from Suixi County 610 Office ransacked Mr. Chen Xin’s home on August 5, 2015. Mr. Chen and his wife were not at home. The police confiscated a computer, Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, a cell phone, an on-demand machine, two phone books, two backpacks, and 300 yuan. The police then forced Mr. Chen’s niece and the village head to sign on documents.
The police arrested Mr. Wen Longbo and confiscated his motorcycle, Falun Gong books, calendars with information about Falun Gong, and on demand machines on August 5, 2015. Mr. Wen is detained at an addiction treatment center and is subjected to brainwashing.
