(Minghui.org) I am a teacher and a certified public accountant (CPA) in my 30s. It took me two years to prepare for and pass my CPA exams, and I scored high. My students admire and appreciate me, because many people have failed the CPA test, even after spending five years studying for it.
I told my students that Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) helped me pass the exams. Actually, Dafa has given me wisdom, which enables me to be successful in my studies.
Remarkable Scores in School
I started to practice Falun Dafa in early 1999. Soon after, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) initiated the persecution of Falun Dafa. I did not have a deep understanding of Dafa at that time, but I remembered what Master Li, the founder of Dafa, said,
“If you can be trusted wherever you go and be a good person wherever you are, people will say that Falun Gong is really good and that this Dafa is really good” (Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Singapore)
As a student I knew that I had to study well. I listened attentively to the teachers in class and always completed all the assignments. However, I did not attend additional classes or do extra homework. Yet, I was among the top four students up through my second year in junior high school.
I listened to the tape recordings of Master's lectures in Jinan, and I seemed to have more and more wisdom. In my next year of junior high, I moved to the top of my class. During my last year in junior high, unlike my classmates, I did not study until late at night or do any extra homework, yet I still was among the three top students in my class in each of the six mock entrance exams.
Knowing Without Being Taught
That last year in junior high, I suddenly knew a lot of things without being taught. All of a sudden I could understand an ancient Chinese language. I interpreted an ancient poem from the Song Dynasty perfectly on an exam, although I had never read it.
I could understand music and the inner meaning of songs. I was able to identify Eastern and Western instruments being played in music, even though I had not studied music at all or had been exposed to such knowledge.
I studied science on my own during my first year in senior high school. Many students had trouble with certain topics. But I found them easy to understand after I took just two classes. I then read books by myself and could understand the topics without any problem.
When I was in my second year of senior high, I could understand physics and found it simple. The chapters in the textbooks were interrelated, and I could summarize them in simple sequences. No matter how my teachers changed exam questions, I could handle them easily. Many of my classmates were scared of science, but, to me, it was easy.
After I accepted a job, I could easily understand economics, accounting, management, astronomy, geography, history, medicine, science, and technology. I held my own views on everything. I could also integrate subjects and understand things holistically. My colleagues liked to listen to me talk and sought my opinion when faced with problems.
Master said:
“Because in this world, whether it is philosophy, astronomy, physics, chemistry, or human history, etc., people may consider them very complicated. They are actually very simple and it is just that little bit of stuff of mankind at the lowest level within the scope of the Buddha Fa. They are all of one same principle and brought about by the characteristic of the universe as well as by the existing form of matter at this level. It is just this little bit. Yet, human wisdom is already unable to accommodate it because the human brain is sealed and cannot accommodate it.” (Lecture in Sydney)
I instinctively knew that my ability to understand did not happen because I was clever, but because Dafa had "opened up" my wisdom, broadened my views, and let me see things from higher perspectives.
A Good Reputation Because of Dafa
Master told us, “...considers others first when taking any action,...” (Lecture Nine, Zhuan Falun).
Thus, I was watchful of my behavior. I always helped my classmates. When they could not understand a subject, I explained it patiently.
One day our head teacher told our English teacher that she could leave the class exam papers on my desk, because no student would dare touch them. The English teacher told me that she had not realized how the students revered me.
I used to be sharp-tongued and always criticized my classmates. They disliked me back then. If it were not for Dafa, I would not consider others’ needs before mine and would not have a good reputation among my classmates.
Graduated from University a Year Early
Many of my classmates got lazy at university, because the pressure was less than it had been in high school. They started to skip classes and copy others’ work. But I remembered the principles of Falun Dafa and worked hard to be a good student. In one of the final exams, I scored 96 out of 100, while half of my classmates failed.
I wanted to apply for early graduation, so I had to study for some of the subjects by myself. It was not difficult. I got good grades and was awarded the top scholarship for two years. I was one of only two students to graduate a year early in the history of my university.
Passed CPA Exam in Two Years
It is not easy to pass all the CPA exams. Many people spend four or more years studying for it, but still fail. According to official statistics, only 200,000 people have passed the CPA exams since the exams were established two decades ago.
My mom's good friend taught accounting at the university level, but failed the CPA exams. My major was not in accounting at the university, and I only attended short courses and learned some basic accounting principles. But, because I am a Falun Dafa practitioner, Master gives me wisdom. I only need to study hard.
I spent two-and-a-half hours studying for the CPA courses each night. Then I studied the Falun Dafa teachings. Fa study enabled me to keep calm and be smarter. When I took the CPA tests, I was calm and did my best.
So far, I have been successful. I am a CPA and have a good job. My boss and colleagues regard me highly. Thanks to Falun Dafa, I have a good life.
Some people think only the elderly practice Falun Dafa. Actually, many young people also practice, and I am a perfect example. If you worry about your studies or work, studying the Fa can help you. If you worry about your children indulging in games, the internet, or television, I suggest you let your children learn Falun Dafa. It will bestow endless wisdom upon them and bring endless happiness.
